    1. Me too! I used to LOVE those choose your own adventure books when I was a kid and even though I don't think you'd call them mysteries, they felt that way to me! Like a puzzle to choose which ending. Ever since then, I've been HOOKED on mysteries and read them ALL--THE--TIME! It was so rewarding and so much fun to write one too! I learned a lot of what to do and what not to do, made some mistakes like we all do, and learned a lot for book two which I'm currently working on! Thanks for replying!

    1. Awww, thanks so much Debbie! I appreciate you taking your time to read about my book and replying! I hope if you decide to purchase it that you do enjoy and I'd love to hear feedback from you at jrath@columbus.rr.com or on a review! I was a teacher for 20 years and writing this book was a HUGE learning curve for me! I know I made some mistakes, but I learned a ton and have a notebook where I'm tracking what people think to help me improve as I work on book two in the series! Thanks again! Jodi Rath

    1. Hi Deborah! Thank you so much! It was really fun for me to write; although, I have to admit to being frightened to take the jump to do it and put it out there for others to read and critique, BUT I have a notebook to take notes of reader's reviews to help me improve and grow as a writer as I continue to write the other 13 books in the series:) Happy holidays! 6. Cozy mysteries are my first choice for reading material. In most cases the characters are more relatable and I can begin to think of them as friends and neighbors. I plan to buy this book and add it to my kindle library.

    1. I feel the exact same way Betty! I love cozies because I really feel like I can relate to the characters and I love the little towns or villages. I've always been into stories of all kinds: TV shows, movies, music, poetry, books, and anything that give me a great story! I was an only child growing up and I've always preferred to be alone reading, writing, drawing, researching...all my hobbies are for the most part solitary. LOL Thanks so much for purchasing my book. I hope you enjoy it!

    1. Thanks, Lisa! I am a chocolate lover! BUT, I do have to say my grandma's pineapple upside-down cake is the only dessert out there that I love as much as I love chocolate!
